Our Story
My daughter was diagnosed with Autism and Learning Disability when she was 2 years old. I have spent a lot of time feeling distressed, helpless and confused. All I wanted to do was to help her because I realised the world is not built around her needs. I have since been actively involved in not only helping her but helping a lot of other parents. I have also tried to be involved in the SEND community as much as possible.
One thing I have found that parents have a lot of unique questions, stuff that you really don’t find on local authority websites. Thus I run this Info-Blog, where I put information out there that is something parents are seeking but not easily finding.
Purpose
This website has been set up to collect and share helpful information for parents and guardians of SEND children and young people in Leeds, West Yorkshire UK
